Oxalufan is the "elder" aspect of the orixá Oxala. He is the keeper of knowledge and father of most orixás. Oxala (also known as Obatala in the Afro-Cuban pantheon) is part of the supreme balance in our universe (see Exu). Oxala is the father of peace, friendship and union. Adorned in pure white and glimmering silver, Oxala is manifestation of the tranquil forces of nature. Oxala allows us to remain fee and continue to communicate with knowledge sources that are very abundant, but at times seem so distant. Oxala is always at our side. |
